Light hearted, enjoyable and cute August 19, 2008 R.Parklane (Tokyo, Japan) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
I have to say the cover is really pretty and kind of seductive. Notice the uke with his red painted nails. This soft Yaoi on 2 couples is light hearted, amusing and enjoyable. The first couple's story is shorter whereby one very persistent uke has been chasing after his seme for 4 years. Said uke works as a male hostess and has his own admirers but he only want this guy who lives downstairs in the apartment managed by the uke's father. The plot is fun as the uke appears every morning in the seme's bed, "doing you know what". The second longer story is the main story, "Feverish" and depicted by the lovely cover. This one has a good plot and the uke could not be more different. Easily mistaken as a woman with his looks and "dress", this uke is aloof and cool with a fist to deliver a devastating punch. And of course a cigar to boot. The poor seme has a really tough time here. There is a surprising revelation in this story (chuckle..) and the supporting characters are kind of fun too. This soft Yaoi is enjoyable as I find myself laughing out aloud at times. Nice artwork too for this mangaka who claims this is her first attempt. Such cute chibis. And I like the little stories at the end featuring the 2 ukes together.
