Too bad 1 star is the lowest I can go. August 11, 2008 Angel 1 out of 3 found this review helpful
A horrible "I'll rape you to prove my love to you" book! This book is so distasteful, that I couldn't even finish the first chapter. I don't know how others gave this book such a good rating?! What the book describes as a "dictatorial student council president" is really some psycho who goes around raping all who appose him. And we're not just talking about him raping some good-for-nothing thugs that are up to no good; he even raped the other main character, and raped him only after deceiving the guy and used the guy's sincerity and kindness for his sick selfish games. Oh, I should mention, he did bind and rape him because he "fell in love" (Geez, give me a break!). He is the definition of inferiority complex, and is by no means likeable. Seriously, in a "normal" yaoi, he would be the antagonist that the readers hope would die a brutal death in the end. Instead, this book made him one of the main characters! My biggest regret is that I wasted my money buying both volume 1 and 2, before realizing how terrible this book really was.
Buy The Entire Series of 3 June 4, 2008 Jami (Thistown) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Scandalous Seiryo University Volume 2 (Scandalous Seiryo University)Beyond Beyond Scandalous Seiryo University 3 (Scandalous Seiryo University) I will preface this review by saying that you will do well to buy all 3 books in this series when you make this purchase...that is if you can handle steamy, explicit, and taboo yaoi action. Oh, and of course the cliffhangers are pretty gripping. The artwork is decent; I find it more "cute" than "beautiful", but it is very graphic. Also there is actually an interesting and enduring plotline between the Seme, sadistic (maybe even sociopathic) student council president Hajizume and the Uke, transfer student Tsuyoshi Misonoi. But beware, those of you, who are not fond of bondage and the forced sex. This manga does not hold back! Even the most cynical of yaoi fans will enjoy this series. Kitty Media is hardly a let down with the works that it publishes and this one is no exception.
God read February 25, 2008 Staryday 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
My favorite thing about this series are the two main characters, Hajitsume and Misonoi. They are not the average characters you find in most yaois. Hajitsume is great. Picture someone who's easy-going (and scary powerful) and always shows up in the nick of time to save the day--but then picture him standing outside the door waiting for the "nick-of-time" before bursting in and saving the day. He's a very funny character and his love for Misonoi is very sweet. As for Misonoi, he's very direct (not to the point of being rude) and not like the annoying weepy-confused-about-their-emotions uke. Nor does he look like a girl. Major plus, as far as I'm concered. Some yaois take that too far. As for the art, I've seen better, but these characters are still beautiful in their own right. And they do have some funny facial expressions throughout the volumes. The sex bares all. Nothing is censored, nothing is hinted at or outlined. Everything is drawn in. Over all, I recomend this to anyone who's getting bored with the standard tough-guy-seme and girly-uke. Heck, the seme-uke positions aren't even fully defined until the second volume, despite all the sex in the first. Keeps things interesting, I think. And this review is long enough, hoped it helped someone out.
Naughty Boy! February 8, 2008 Cat Rod (Largo, MD, USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Yes, this manga is scandalous. It's the usual story: boy meets boy, boy wants boy, boy gets boy. What's not to like when eveyone even the innocent "victim" is so naughty?
Great storyline February 1, 2008 Lauren A. Zimmerman (Florida) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I wasn't really that fond of some of the art, considering that even during the intimate scenes, the bodies would,a t times, be anatomically incorrect. I'll admit that it was pretty graphic, but all in all I really did like the storyline. I was really interested in the story about the twins- even though it was hardly mentioned
