Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
Mao was just your typical, disillusioned young man who worked as a waiter at a pizza joint. But all of that changes when he stumbles across an old friend named Sora, who also happens to be a pint sized cat in human form! Now, Mao and Sora are on the run, pursued by shady G-men in black!

4 out of 5 stars Cute and funny one with potential.   June 26, 2008

This one is quite different from the usual but it is a fun read. A fantasy world where cats of all sizes and personalities interacting with their human friends/owners/neighbours certainly needs a moment to get used to in the beginning. And you need a bit of patience to get familiar with the many names tagged with the different characters, which the first introductory page certainly helps. It starts off a bit disjointed but everything starts to fall into place nicely in this light hearted, amusing and at times whacky story.
Mao is a cute character and his blossoming romance with the "mute" son of the head of a mafia gang is a nice one but not the main focus in this Vol 1, which the mangaka herself regrets. However this is still an enjoyable read with the amusing and creative plot and the engaging cat and human characters. And yes did I mention the Cat God who is quite a hunk. For those of you looking for "real" Yaoi look elsewhere as this one is a light BL, at this point anyway. Certainly look forward to Vol 2 which I hope will materialize.
