Product Description
At the Ouka Academic Institute, an elite all-male private school for the nation's most gifted, exists a student council with some extraordinary members. Among them is Yuushi Satou, the student council president admired by every student. Despite his cool, elegant demeanor, he is a passionate leader. In fact, unbeknownst to him, his concealed passion is what makes him attractive to the rest of the students. Backed by a beautiful bouquet of boys to round off the council, this all-boys school is ready to burst.

5 out of 5 stars Student Council Bishies (And some info on Vol 2)   August 13, 2008

First off this work really isn't yaoi or even shounen-ai. True, it has shounen-ai moments, but there doesn't seem to be intention for the reader to interpret it this way.
That said, for a fun high school work with plenty of pretty, pretty boys you really can't choose a better work. The stories are engrossing and re-readable. (Not to mention vol 2 is huge!) The stories center on the student council president, but the lives of the other student council members also are shown. Each chapter is packed with good art and plot flows rather smoothly from scene to scene.

I rated this work a 5 because as a manga it is very good. The art is very beautiful and clean. The plot is fun and makes the reader wish for a vol 3 (which may be possible since mangaupdates doesn't show that the work is completed). However, if you are expecting something in the yaoi or even shounen-ai category, you will be sorely disappointed.

Invisible Boy Vol. 1 wasn't as I expected but the story line was still pretty good.

I find myself enjoying this one though there is no explicit expression of love yet. Let's hope this develops into a soft Yaoi in the second volume.
Lots of pretty boys here and their interaction is well done. Took me longer than usual to read as there are a lot of words exchange among the characters but it is never wordy or dull. Far from it. Good plot and the boys are all interesting characters. There may be a lot of pretty boys but each one is a distinct character. It is worthwhile to remember each pretty face's name in the very beginning as this makes the reading more enjoyable as the story progresses. A fraternity of brotherly love and care with of course the blossoming love between Yuushi, the Student Council's President, and Nagi, the "abandoned" child with an unhappy backgound. Nagi's story is sad and touching. Lovely artwork.

5 out of 5 stars Beautiful art, beautiful boys   October 24, 2007

I'd have to say this is one of the best shounen-ai manga out there beautifully drawn and written by Hotaru Odagiri (Time Lag, illustrated Only the Ring Finger Knows manga and novels). If you loved her other works, this one definitely won't let you down.

Invisible Boy is about the budding relationship between class president Yuushi Ktou (seme) and his secretary Nagi Tokieda (uke) while attending the prestigious Ouka Academy. Ouka is a rich boys school and only the best of these good looking rich boys makes it onto class council. However Nagi is having problems at home with his ever absent father and feels he has no where to call home. He doesn't love himself and so how can he love others? And then, enter Yuushi and things begin to change...

This is a beautiful story of boy's love shounen-ai, but if you're into yaoi then you may be disappointed. There's barely kissing in this volume. However since this is the first volume in a series there is sure more to come. If you like seeing a bunch of rich pretty boys running around and driving Rolls-Royce, then Invisible Boy is a must have.
