Product Description
As the son of a prominent and wealthy family, Yutaka wears the mask of a genteel elite student. Frustrated by this facade he must put up with and stifled by a future already laid out for him, the only way Yutaka can deal with the boredom and unhappiness of his empty life is through sexual release. Then one day, Tohno - a delinquent-looking student with blonde-dyed hair - suddenly transfers into Yutaka's class. As he finds himself more and more obsessed with a deep abiding lust for this young man, his daily descents into sexual fantasy begin to interfere with his life, until a ferocious impulse to possess Tohno for his own leads him to a diabolical scheme.

The sunbursts were erotically thrilling. I bought multiple copies for myself and tried to pass one off on my guy friend Phil, because he's the sensitive type, but he was unsympathetic to what he felt was my exceptionally poor taste.

I was disappointed in this manga. It is marketed as 18+, for mature audiences, but this isn't hard yaoi. Or, at least this volume isn't. Plus, I have several problems with the book.

First it has the same old cliche story. You have the traditional high school setting (err, I mean 'college') and the "good" boy attracted to the "bad" boy story. Been there, done that - and much better done in Little Butterfly. Second, I expected hard yaoi and there is no sex, or any real consummation. Third, I just couldn't care about the characters. I didn't find either of the them particularly likebale, or engaging. Perhaps later volumes will provide follow-through on the relationship, but I'm not sure I want to find out. The story was not enough to overcome the lack of true yaoi content. And lastly, it ended on a cliffhanger with no volume 2 in sight.

June manga produces some beautiful books, and this is no exception. The artwork is very good, with a great cover and a nice dust jacket. If only the story had lived up to the publication. If you like the school-based yaoi (which I admit are not my favorite) than this may be for you. If you are looking for hard yaoi, look elsewhere.

Not the best, but fun with some kinky scenes in it. The story really didn't do much for me and it was pretty incomplete. But still fun if you like Yaoi.
