Product Description Yuuto is an ordinary run-of-the-mill high school student. But one day he gets struck by lightning, and things start to take a turn. A strange person, who goes by the name "Yadzuchi" shows up and starts following Yuuto around. Yadzuchi turns out to be a ghost with mysterious spiritual powers, and proclaims (insists!) that Yuuto is the reincarnation of Princess Aki from a thousand years ago. Now, Yadzuchi won't leave Yuuto alone until he remembers who he really is!

Yaoi style InuYasha style! July 10, 2008 gemini (usa) Reminds me a little bit of InuYasha in the way that the demon is being subdued by a priestess reincarnated into a modern day boy. Very fun and interersting! I hope the sequel becomes available soon! I love this book!
Pleasant surprise January 7, 2008 Barbara Vincent (San Francisco, CA) 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
I bought "From Up Above," because it had been given a good review by another yaoi reader. I was used to reading 18+ yaoi selections, and I didn't notice that this one was rated for teens, so I was surprised when there was no actual sex in the book.
But it was a fun read from beginning to end. The premise is based on Japanese folklore (a plus for me), revolving around demons who come to earth and feed off of human energy. And they feed by...kissing! So there are plenty of nice kissing scenes.
I actually sent my copy off to a young friend who I thought would enjoy it, but I'll be looking out for the second volume of this very pleasing story.
