| Editorial Reviews:
Product Description He saved Akio Yamane from his incurable sickness, but the outcast, Setsu, has protected this cursed bloodline for countless generations. What will happen when something akin to love begins to blossom between them, in the face of incompatibility between humans and therianthropes. The past of the gentle therianthrope, Setsu, is also explored in the back-up story, "Ishi Kenbunroku" in this, the second volume of the super-popular series!

| Customer Reviews: good (of course), but not chronological July 3, 2010 pradlee While the shorts (all involving the main characters) were interesting and sweet, Suzuki Tsuta seems to have run out of plot ideas, as if Setsu and Aki falling in love (unofficiall and undeclared, of course) was the point of the whole series. There were many interesting points that could have been mutated into a grander plot (especially the presence of the garden entities/plant spirits and Setsu's sake supplier), but it was nice to find out some about both Setsu's and Aki's pasts. The two bonded some more, which was sweet, but Setsu's comment about the night sky being so dark he couldn't see the stars (a forbidding message), didn't amount to anything. All I can make of it is that the author is eventually going to develop this plot point into a conlict (involving some evil beings...?). I hope...
Wonderfully Mystifying January 30, 2010 Cwolf (USA) The mythical and historical elements to the story's modern day setting are wonderful. I love the characters, for each is unique and well developed. In all I had a great time reading and rereading this story.
Just as good as the first! January 20, 2010 Manda_P (Orlando, FL) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The uke seemed to be giving in by the end of vol. 1, but we see that he's still got a lot of fight in him--when he's not sick. What I love the most about this volume is that when the seme really asked nicely the uke actually became willing and stopped whining and making a fuss. That was so sweet! I also love how much bigger the uke is than the seme and how he roughs him up. :D
I loved vol. 1 and this one is just as good. I keep reading this over and over. I'm definitely a fan of Tsuta Suzuki now! This is the type of non-con-ish yaoi I want to read!
