Product Description
Shoko Hidaka's breakthrough comic is a collection of eye-opening love stories. Yousuke suddenly shows up on the door step of his old high school buddy Tanigawa after years of no contact. While the two has a budding relationship back in school, things fell apart and they decided to part ways and search for their true love. However, it might be that their relationship in the golden days of high school was what they have been looking for all along.

5 out of 5 stars depth between the soft yaoi lines   September 6, 2007

I did enjoy this book and found it soothing and sexy--but yes, it is a soft yaoi. The art is good and the guys who have 'friends with benefits' are all well drawn. The artistic background is lacking detail but the pacing of the story flows like a smaller stream. I liked how the stories begin at various points in their relationships. Such as after a 10 year break or after 4 years of hiding your love and your not even sure it's an 'official' relationship.
I also like that the story isn't completely spelled out for the reader which is really rather swell when you have to think to figure out when something took place. I like going back a couple pages and saying "ah, that's what that was..."
The storylines aren't that original except the one about the Policeman and Public Defender. But what I've noticed is certain types of stories draw me more then others and these stories suit me well.
It's very sweet and gives you fuzzies. It will not rev you up and make you run around the house. If you could deal with the pacing of Only the Ring Finger Knows then this is comparable.

3 out of 5 stars Rather ordinary stories except for one.   August 19, 2007

5 stories here. The story lines are rather tame and ordinary except for the one between a prosecutor and a detective. This pair of lovers are forced to remain in the closets because of the lives they lead. I am impressed with this one. Too bad this is not longer or further developed as it has potential and the 2 characters, in particular the detective, are interesting. Like the detective with his stiff composure and hair slicked back.

The main story of the same title of love rekindled between a pair of awkward lovers is not bad. The rest on a budding romance between 2 students, a white collar worker desiring his boss and an "on and off" romance between 2 close friends are forgettable.

The artwork is "so-so" and this is soft Yaoi.
